FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about creating your will and our services.

Are the wills created through Wills-to-Go legally valid in Belize?

Legal

Yes, absolutely. All wills created through our platform are designed in strict accordance with Belizean laws and regulations. Our documents are recognized and enforceable by Belizean courts. We ensure that all legal requirements are met, including proper witnessing and signature procedures.

What's the difference between Print & Go and Digital Signature?

Technical

Print & Go: You'll receive your will document to print and sign in person with witnesses. You maintain the physical document, though an unsigned copy is stored in your account for future adjustments.

Digital Signature: Complete the entire process online using our secure digital signature service. Your signed will is stored in both your account and our secure Digital Vault. This option requires proof of identity verification.

How long does it take to create a will?

General

Most people complete the questionnaire in 10-15 minutes. Once you've provided all the necessary information, your will document is generated instantly. You can then review, make adjustments, and finalize it at your own pace. The entire process from start to finish can be completed in under 30 minutes.

Can I update my will after it's been created?

Technical

Yes. An unsigned copy of your will is stored in your account, allowing you to make future adjustments as your circumstances change. Life events like marriage, births, property purchases, or changes in your wishes can all be accommodated. Simply log in, make your changes, and create an updated will document.

How secure is my personal information?

Technical

We take security extremely seriously. All your personal information and documents are encrypted using bank-level security protocols. Our Digital Vault uses advanced encryption standards to protect your sensitive documents. We are fully compliant with data protection regulations and never share your information with third parties without your explicit consent.

What's the difference between Basic and Advance Will & Testament?

Pricing

Basic Will ($525): Ideal for simple estates with one primary asset, one executor, and one beneficiary. Perfect for individuals with straightforward wishes.

Advance Will ($675): Designed for more complex estates with multiple assets, executors, and beneficiaries. Best for those with diverse property holdings, multiple family members, or specific distribution requirements.

Do I need witnesses for my will?

Legal

For Print & Go wills, yes. Belizean law requires that your will be signed in the presence of two witnesses who are not beneficiaries. For Digital Signature wills, our platform handles the witnessing requirements digitally through our secure verification process, though you'll need to provide proof of identity.
